NCC will build another waterfront home in Hellerup for Danica

NCC was commissioned by Danica to build a third house in Tuborg Strandeng, Hellerup, Denmark. The project is called Kysthus III and will contain 38 apartments and is a continuation of Kysthus I and Kysthus II which the parties previously built together in the same area. The order value is approx. 540 million Swedish crowns.

“We are pleased to have been appointed to continue the expansion of the area. Kysthus III has the same sculptural appearance as the previous houses and a spectacular view of the Öresund and Copenhagen. A building out of the ordinary, says Catarina Molén-Runnäs, head of NCC Building Nordics.

There has been great interest in living in the area.

“The sale of the apartments exceeds our expectations. The apartments, the sea and nature close to the city also make the area one of the most attractive in Copenhagen and Denmark. There are interested buyers, which is why we are starting the construction of Kysthus III. The project will be a landmark for Copenhagen and help deliver a good return to Danica’s pension plan clients,” says Michael Nielsen.

The apartments, which are built in three groups, are designed by Lundgaard & Tranberg ArchitectsAll apartments are unique and vary in size from 160 to 340 square meters.

Construction begins in February and the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

The assignment is a turnkey contract and the order value of approximately 540 million Swedish crowns will be registered in the first quarter of 2022 in the NCC Building Nordics business area.
