Million Pound Motorhomes: A Texas couple quit their jobs and sold their house for an incredible reason | Travel News | Travel

Million Pound Motorhomes shows motorhome owners a range of different vehicles. A family has spent nearly half a million pounds converting their double-decker bus to spend two years touring every US state.

Texas couple Dane and Deena Eyerly are planning a two-year RV adventure to visit every state in the US.

However, they are “total novices”, affirmed the narrator in the program.

The couple have six children, aged nine to three.

The couple said: ‘We saw a big double-decker bus for sale online and thought, maybe this could work!

The bus was once a hotel on wheels, meaning it had the space the couple were looking for.

They added: “We started with this idea when we went on a road trip.

“Being on the road with our kids traveling so well, we were wondering how to make this work, to do it more frequently?”

In the seating area, their seat backs fold down to create a dining table, which is very practical.

There is a bathroom downstairs with another upstairs.

Halfway up the stairs, the couple built a shower.

Dane said: “We wanted to make sure we had a 7ft shower, so we built it halfway up the stairwell.”

Finally, on the top floor, they have created a playroom for their six children.
